Cinco de Mayo Celebration
A Cinco de Mayo Celebration will be held on Monday, May 5 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Campus Center East Quad. There will be mariachi music, Mexican food, and pan dulce. Cinco de Mayo is the date of victory for the Mexican army over the French at the battle of Puebla, which also represents a symbol of unity and patriotism for the Mexicans.

Following an investigation into her eligibility status at the April 24 Associated Students Organization (ASO) meeting, Vivian Amezcua was removed from the presidential position in ASO's executive cabinet.
