Part of Chatsworth Park, which may be considered one of the most picturesque areas of the San Fernando Valley, is now being carefully measured for lead contamination and is no longer open for the enjoyment or use of the public.

An undercover drug operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and University Police led to the arrest of 18 San Diego State students today and 15 students in the last few weeks. Several fraternity members of Theta Chi were among those arrested.

Students at San Diego State recently received an award from the Red Cross for donating more blood than any college in the country, but if a controversial resolution passes the Associated Students council, all that will change.

Tomorrow, the council will vote on the resolution authored by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Student Union, which would prohibit blood banks from bringing mobile donation units onto campus because of their discriminatory policies.
